China Rail Transit Construction Boom Restart Connector Import Substitution in Acceleration

2018-12-04 13:41:32 admin

Previously, due to the overheating of domestic rail transit construction, the National Development and Reform Commission issued a timely policy of "suppression". However, after a year's suspension, the NDRC has resumed the approval of the urban rail transit project. Under the impetus of the domestic construction and the "one belt and one road" demand, China's rail transit is expected to usher in a golden development period again. Connectors are the key components of the normal operation of rail transit, and will also usher in explosive growth. But at the same time, localization or import substitution has become the focus of Chinese connectors to overcome.

Strong demand for global rail transit

Rail transit has the characteristics of large volume, low energy consumption, convenience, fast, punctuality and punctuality. It is an important part of modern comprehensive transportation system and has become the focus of development in all countries in the world.

The global rail transit equipment market is expected to reach more than 190 billion euros in 2018. In the next 20 to 25 years, the demand for railway construction in the world is about 120,000 km to 150,000 km, of which the construction of high-speed railway is about 15,000 to 30,000 km, and the demand for investment is very strong. In addition, the demand for new construction and capacity expansion of urban rail transit has reached 26 315 kilometers, of which the potential demand for global urban rail transit has reached 19 855 kilometers.

From 2019 to 2021, the railway market in Asia and the Pacific will reach about 7 trillion yen, while that in Western Europe will reach about 6 trillion yen, which will stimulate global demand.

Recently, German Transport Minister Schoeil said that in order to achieve environmental goals, Germany needs more tracks. By 2030, the German federal government will invest 270 billion euros in infrastructure construction, 42% of which is track-related.

China's Restart of Rail Transit Construction

In recent years, the scale of urban rail transit system development in China ranks first in the world. By the end of last year, 34 urban rail transit cities had been opened in China, with operation mileage reaching more than 5000 kilometers, which is the longest in the world. Among them, the total length of our metro lines is more than 3,800 kilometers, accounting for 77% of the total length of the lines.

Due to the overheating of urban rail transit projects in recent years, the Development and Reform Commission introduced relevant management system to suppress it. However, after a one-year suspension, the NDRC recently restarted the approval of urban rail transit projects. Changchun Phase III Urban Rail Transit, Suzhou Urban Rail Transit Phase III, Hangzhou Airport Rail Express Line, Xi'an Metro Phase III, Xuzhou Phase II Metro, Taiyuan Mayor Line 2 Phase II Project... At present, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Wuhan and Hefei are the cities to be approved by the National Development and Reform Commission for the construction of urban rail projects.

At the same time, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Nanchang, Shijiazhuang and other cities are speeding up Metro construction. Some previously approved projects, including Nanjing Metro Line 7, Guangzhou Metro Line 11, Huashi Station and Luoyang Metro Line 1, have started recently. At present, Chongqing, Taiyuan and South are also accelerating Metro construction. Chang, Wuxi, Nantong, Changzhou, Xuzhou and other dozens of cities.

Through the analysis of the rail transit market, it is estimated that 24,000 kilometers of new railway lines will be put into operation in China in 2018-2020, with an average annual production of 8000 kilometers. From 2018 to 2020, China's new high-speed rail line is expected to reach 7000 kilometers.

The head of Wanke Electronics (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. said that in the past 20 years, the scale and speed of the construction of traditional railways and urban rail transit in China are rare in the world, and the construction technology ranks first in the world.

In addition, China's rail transit is also in the upgrading cycle. Li Guozhen, deputy general manager of Sichuan Huafeng Enterprise Group Co., Ltd., believes that China Road traffic is upgrading. On the one hand, besides upgrading to high-speed rail, green cars also need to speed up upgrading. This is a good market opportunity. Rail transit will rise steadily in the future. On the other hand, freight transport is also promoting the delivery. Some time ago, the State Council issued a document proposing that public transport should be replaced by railways.

Chen Feng, product development engineer of Hangzhou Anfano Jialisheng Connection Technology Co., Ltd., also believes that the upgrading of Railways in the rail transit field will make the whole market rise steadily in the next five to ten years.

Liu Yong, product manager of Haoting, also said that Haoting has provided many customized connectors and technical support for China's Fuxing Railway. Railway is the market that Haoting attaches great importance to and will devote more energy to developing in the future.

March ahead along the road

As the concept of "one belt and one road" initiative has been enriched and its path has been clearer, it has received great attention from the international community and the positive response of the countries along the line.

Zhang Jiacheng, managing director of Tongjiang capital, said that as an important part of China's "one belt and one road", rail transportation is expected to become the leading force of China's superior industries to "go to sea", and there will be huge market opportunities overseas.

At present, China's rail transit equipment exports are mainly concentrated in developing countries. Take China National Automobile Group as an example, in 2016, the company has exported more than 80 countries and regions, of which about 19 are exported to Africa.

Shi Deyu, deputy general manager of uni (Tianjin) Intelligent Technology Development Co., Ltd., said that the area has leveraged the new market of urban rail transit industry. From 13th Five-Year, we saw at least 25 countries, 77 cities, 281 lines online, and 7057 kilometers in construction kilometers.
